We're supposed to give constructive feedback, although I'm sure we'll love it. ah! I love that dude video, it's so perfect! My students busted me with my overuse of "rad" and "awesome" the other day too - dang it! (were you a skater back in the day or something? they ask)

Dude. I'm right there with you. It's going to be one of those things that will make my kids cringe with embarrassment in about ten years. And I just won't be able to help it.
ReplyDeleteI run a site called HerMamas.com and one of our readers shared that Allison Tate Huffington Post article. I loved it because 4 years ago I had the same revelation. It was then that I decided to start a photo project where I take a photo of my daughter and I everyday. At the end of the month I compile the pictures into a slideshow. These videos have become my love letters to my daughter. 4 years later and the project is still going strong. I have an amazing collection of photos of my daughter (and myself) growing up. ReplyDeleteDude is definitely a part of my vocabulary. As well as rad, sick, awesome, cool, etc. Ummm. Basically, I'm 30 and still talk like I watch Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure every day.
