My friend Jenny is expecting her first baby (a little girl!) in September, but as her bump grew, she didn't know what to wear. So! Just for fun, we decided to do a little makeover...BEFORE:
"Since I work in fashion, it's my job to 'look the part,' " says Jenny, the senior fashion sales director of style website Refinery29. "But now that I'm pregnant, I have that moment every morning where I open my closet doors and just stare..." She was relying on flowy tops and leggings, but needed something more elegant for work.Happily, HATCH, the gorgeous maternity collection based in New York, offered Jenny three pretty pieces to round out her wardrobe, and the lovely Kelsey Foster took photos...
AFTER:

Here, Jenny wears the Afternoon Dress in navy. "I wear larger necklaces and jewelry now that I'm pregnant," she says, since they help balance out her bump. (Btw, how cool is it that she can bring her dog to work?!)

Here, Jenny wears the Dinner Party Dress in tan stripes. "Bright nail polish also makes me feel more pulled together when I'm pregnant," she says.

Finally, Jenny wears the ADORABLE jumper. How cute does she look?! She wore a chunky necklace and sky-high heels to make the look feel chic and grown-up. (Tip: She made her awesome bun with a rad bun donut! They come in small and large.)If you are pregnant (or have been), what did you like to wear? I wore the same blue V-neck every day. :)
P.S. My Pregnancy Survival Guide, and more maternity wear.
(Photos by Kelsey Foster. HATCH is a Cup of Jo sponsor; Hatch did not pay an extra fee for this post, but did generously provide the clothes for this post. Additional thanks to B Bar for letting us take the final shots on their shady patio.)

my sister-in-law due date is in August too! nice post
ReplyDeletehttp://girlynote.blogspot.com/
I am currently 6 months pregnant and I live in American Apparel dresses... they are all stretchy cotton and good for post-partum too. My favourite is the maxi dress in Picasso stripes.
ReplyDeleteThis makes me want to be preggers again! I miss it sooooo much! I really, really loved it!
ReplyDeleteDarling Momma-to-be! I love it!
My (hopefully) soon-to-be maternity uniform will be the dinner party dress in red with a leather jacket, great shoes + jewelry.
ReplyDeleteI love the tan+stripe on your friend! Best wishes to her in August and beyond!
These outfits are really stunning. I especially love the shift dress with the brown boots. She is a foxy mama!
ReplyDeleteit's great to see such a stylist mother-to-be!

my sister is pregnant, due soon, and i love her photos of pregnancy evolution on her blog: http://inevitablefeast.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteshe has also managed to be extremely beautiful and smart throughout, i.e. including second-hand items to her pregnancy wardrobe to make it "new" and affordable
she does look good, but wowzers the prices of those pieces is way too much for me! the gap has some nice maternity clothes at a more pedestrian price though.
ReplyDeletealso, i could never wear anything but flats when i was pregnant. i fell down the stairs in 1 1/2" wedge boots at 6 months and it scared the crap out of me.
She looks fabulously stylish, love the looks :)
ReplyDeleteDue August 4th! Only 19 days to go. I've been lucky and am all belly, so I could wear a lot of my own things for a long time. I did finally cave and get a pair of maternity skinny jeans around 5 months and I'm so glad I did.
ReplyDeleteOtherwise I think dresses are the best for a baby bump. You can find a lot of maxi, empire waist, and stretchy ones in your normal size/maybe a size up but allow for growth. I'm excited for our new arrival and to get back into my closet. Now I'm thinking about button downs and wrap dresses to make my wardrobe more nursing friendly.
Love Hatch and Rachel Pally for maternity style.
ReplyDeleteWow, she looks totally stunning! I especially love that jumpsuit, so unusual but so awesome!
ReplyDeletewww.ciderwithrosiebee.blogspot.com
wow, amanda, you're so close to the finish line! you must be so excited:)
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome makeover, how have I never seen a pregnancy makeover before!!! Yay!
ReplyDeleteHatch is to die for. Gosh I wish they were around when I was pregnant about 4 years ago (whoa was it really 4 years ago!)
I pretty much wore my normal clothes until the bump was too big, then relied on lots of knee length dresses as I was in the 3rd trimester during the Summer, I wore lots of cheap finds from the Gap & Old Navy so I didn't mind the many dribbles and spills as I got used to my growing belly! (gosh I was clumsy during pregnancy)
Next time around I will treat myself to a few really nice items (ones that can transition to post baby too!) because it's such a special time you should enjoy it and dress like you love it!
Xx
katrina, congratulations! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love the Dinner Party Dress and the jumper rocks--Jenny looks so beautiful. Did you find a comfortable strapless bra during the makeover? I had a babe 6 months ago and am still on the prowl for the perfect strapless (so much more daunting now that I actually have breasts!)
ReplyDeleteThese are great pieces!
ReplyDeleteI can completely relate to the feeling of nothing being in my closet ready to be worn...
As I am pregnant now (2 more weeks to go...) I have been enjoying wearing some longer and wider shirts and leggings. I also found these super comfy maternity pants at H&M that are so comfy and good for even the warmer weather:)
Still- it is tough to find something nice looking and comfortable at the same time.
I write from Poland and I feel we're lacking in nice shops with maternity clothes (unless you're shopping online).
I would like to say: She was gorgeous before and did not need a makeover, but... those are some VERY nice Hatch pieces to add to an already stylish mama's wardrobe. Nice job, everybody! xo.
ReplyDeleteThese are great outfits and she looks great!
ReplyDeleteI know you only want nice comments but I do have a complaint with Hatch clothes. They are lovely and certainly investment pieces that tout to be 'Perfect for before, during and after pregnancy'. The issue is that most of the collection is comprised of dresses without any buttons or access for nursing (with the exception perhaps of the Airplane dress?). I'm on my second pregnancy and happily buy several of these lovely pieces if I thought after the baby came I'd be able to wear them out and nurse in public without disrobing. I'd love to see the company in future expand their range to keep this in mind.
Love this post. Can't wait til you announce baby number 2 and post even more about maternity!
ReplyDeleteLovely post! I'm not even pregnant, yet I am still considering ordering that fantastic jumper.;)
ReplyDeleteShe looks amazing in all of these! HATCH is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteBun tip...I've made my own bun donut from a rolled up sock wiht the toe cut off.
ReplyDeleteah! finally a hair donut for sale. the cut off sock wasn't really working for me, hopefully this will work better! thanks for posting!
ReplyDeleteI'm with diana banana on the wearing flats part. I am currently 6 weeks from dropping thing 2 and even the thought of heels daunts me ;)
ReplyDeleteHatch is lovely but way too expensive for me! I like stretchy dresses (non maternity) and now that I am on leave I live in the most comfortable maternity yoga pants. You know the kind you can pull up over your bump? Oh man they are so lovely. I only wear them indoors mind you...
Oh, you should do your next hair tutorial on her hair in the second set of pics (Dinner Party Dress in tan stripes)! Stunning all around!
ReplyDeleteLucky for me, I no longer work in fashion ( or live in the city!!!) and can be a bit lazy this time around. As with previous poster, wearing American apparel , belted non pregnant and loose now. Hatch looks amazing ...wish I needed such cute stuff!!!
ReplyDeleteShe looks amazing, which is impressive since Hatch kinda just looks like the maternity tents people used to wear the 80s to me :P Maybe I just don't have enough style to appreciate them. And the heels are freaking me out, especially on cobblestone. I think she looked great before!
ReplyDeletewow! what a difference that made! so beautiful
ReplyDeletebecause of budget restrictions i am currently wearing a lot of maternity hand-me-downs which i feel super blessed to have. seeing these pictures make me a little sad though cause i would love to get a makeover!!! i really really really love that last outfit with the chunky necklace and the jumper ... sooo cute! i do have one outfit i refer to as my "with-child uniform" its black leggings, a dark green tank and this plaid shirt of husbands that has blue, green, red and brown (i think) the button up is really light weight so its nice for the summer. if its really hot, i just switch out the leggings for cut off jean shorts and im sure when it gets colder, ill just add boots :)
ReplyDeleteI'm 31 weeks pregnant and definitely getting to that point where I just stare at my closet blankly with nothing to wear! I've actually caved and bought a few maternity items for summer. Gotta feel good, right?!
ReplyDeleteThe Hatch outfits are beautiful but I must admit-$300 for one outfit is for the elite and rich. Totally out of my price range.
Any idea where Jenny's boots in the first photo are from? The gorgeous brown ones with gold hardware?
ReplyDeleteIt'd be awesome if you wouldn't mind sharing sources for the other accessories featured here! Many thanks!
Oh my gosh, she is TOO beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteshe looks fantastic!! i am such a sucker for a makeover.
ReplyDeleteThat jumper is too cool. I'd wear it on my not-pregnant self.
ReplyDeleteshe looks pretty but is in HEELS in every pic. I love wedges and stilettos as much as the next lady but def not while pregnant and especially not in 3rd trimester! Poor lower back and legs. Never mind if foot swelling. Yikes. No fashion statement is worth that.
ReplyDeleteLove the new look! She is so stinkin' cute anways! xoxo
ReplyDeleteLove these 3 outfits!! She looks so radiant and gorgeous. Pregnancy suits her well!
ReplyDeletecute! from where is the red necklace with the jumper? I loooove it :)
ReplyDeleteher hair is gorgeous, and seems to pull together every outfit! :) Love the jumper the most!
ReplyDeleteGreat outfits! Also, what kind of dog does Jenny have?
ReplyDeleteam i the only one amazed by her shoes in all these photos? i hope i look that awesome when i'm that pregnant :))
ReplyDeleteLOVE the jump suit! She looked lovely before, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm 6.5 months, and am going crazy for caftans. :) Just light airy dresses are best for me too, as I'm quite itchy.
x
Hi!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, she look gorgeous. Safe delivery to u Jenny:) Also, I was wondering if there was a link to her boots? I like em'. :)
Zoe
Okay, totally cute and so well put together! I doubt that the majority of pregnant ladies will be looking like that as they grow and bloom.
ReplyDeleteIf your pregnant and reading this and wearing stretchy clothes from Old Navy...you are normal!
OH and with the other commenters on heels. I swore I'd stay in heels and JUST bought a gorgeous pair of wooden stack clogs... but then my hip popped, and I'm definitely a flats wearing waddler, now! So sad! x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Every pregnant woman is just gorgeous, no matter what she wears. :) I think, chunky things might accent your size, not take away from it - it really depends on a person, but this lady looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI was looking to pregnancy very much, to have a bump, etc., when nature surprised me with twins and I went from 125 lb (5.4 high) to 220lb. Looking like an elephant and no clothes could make me look better. I hid behind some stretchy yoga pants and JCrew Tshirts, that are very long and durable. Sigh. :) I hope one day to have a singleton and try out those beautiful clothes too! :)
Stunning! I love how these are all stylish without being overly clingy like a lot of maternity wear now. Thanks for showing us that maternity dresses can find a happy place between sacks and spandex.
ReplyDeleteShe looks so beautiful!! Loved this post so much!
ReplyDeleteI love hatch pieces, but I had higher hopes for this post. Not everybody can afford to buy their pieces for a pregnancy pick me up. It would have been nice to see a variety of pieces in different price ranges.
ReplyDeletesincerely, formerly 'rocking' the jersey stretch leggings and baggy sweaters (aka tara belle)
Jenny, you're hot.
ReplyDeletegorgeous! i've got 7 weeks left to go and it's starting to get really difficult to pick out outfits!
ReplyDeletei am due in 6 weeks and starting to outgrow what is in my maternity stash! thankfully i'm a teacher so not working right now, i can scrub it. but, once i go back to work in a couple weeks, i am all over maxi dresses and skirts!

ReplyDeleteWow, she looks gorgeous! And even more gorgeous after the makeover!! x

So fun! I was pregnant 7, 6, and 3 years ago, and maternity has come a long way since then. I lived in dresses b/c they were so much more comfortable than any kind of pants I could find.
ReplyDeleteThis woman is totally gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWow, she looks really fantastic.

Holy cow, she looks amazing ! Not fair that she has such delicate ankles in this heat :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm pregnant for the third (and last!) time and have always been in my last trimester during the hot months of summer, so I live for cotton dresses. They are far, far cooler and more comfortable than any kind of maternity pants/shorts. So easy and breezy!
ReplyDeleteI love this! You've made pregnancy look sheek and sexy, which it is :)
ReplyDeleteI really like the navy afternoon dress with the boots! But the other stuff is a little too loose for me. When I am pregnant someday, I know I'll want tighter pieces that show I'm not just overweight - there's another human growing in there! I'm afraid that flowy pieces will just make me look dumpy... does anyone else feel this way?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful clothes but SHE is freaking gorgeous. And those boots in the first outfit are killer.
ReplyDeleteso so so so fun! i'm due in november and i'm also in need of a makeover!
ReplyDeleteHatch has beautiful clothes but they are far out of my price range. I lived in Target clothes haha.
ReplyDeleteThis is by far the cutest maternity post I have ever seen. By the way, does the bun donut work better than a sock? I wasn't able to do the trick with a sock...at all!
ReplyDeleteawwww so cute. I can only hope that I'll be that cute of a pregnant woman!
ReplyDeletethis is so cute. i LOVE that there are such beautiful options for preggers women. xo.
ReplyDeleteShe looks wonderfull! I think maternity makes a women looks more feminin and more beautyfull.

love this! i dream of wearing a billowing onesie with statement jewelry when my day comes. maternity chic is the next big thing!

I'm seven months pregnant and have been wearing black leggings with long tops/big jumpers since May. Almost feels like a uniform now :)
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing maternity label. I love all of these looks - it kind of makes me almost want to have a baby if I can look that good..!

She really does look amazing. You can tell that she has great personal style! I am also a huge fan of Hatch. I love that their pieces come in so many great colors and fabrics, too. I am crazy about the jumper.
ReplyDeleteMy first pregnancy, I wore lots of jersey maxi dresses. My second, I threw in the towel and wore jeans/tanks/sweaters almost every day. (I was as long as I was tall, I was chasing a 1 year old and I was TIRED! : )
Guau!!! She looks gorgeous!!!!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the blue dress- looks fab! Also love her boots! Where did she get these????? I must know!
ReplyDeletenicole
What a great post! I am finished having babies, but I always felt like flowy dresses were the way to go-- especially in the summertime. She looks absolutely stunning!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had known about this company when I was pregnant!
Such a beauty, I hope I can look that good when I'm preggers one day!

I lived in DVF wrap dresses, leggings and flowy tops paired with cardigans or crisp blazers. Next time around though...you can be sure that I'm going to buy some cute pieces from hatch...um hello jumper!
ReplyDeleteJoanna,
ReplyDeleteAre you going to address the post from the other day? It's disheartening to see you often respond to only positive comments, particularly when very valid constructive criticism and concern is being raised elsewhere in the comments section.
Your lack of an appropriate response to this has been disappointing. You still haven't addressed the problem with the ramen noodle dishonesty, and furthermore, your comments in which you have responded have rung extremely false: "Thank you SO much for your feedback!! I love you guys. xoxo"
The problem is not that we want "to know exactly when/how things happen and know you can always trust what I write and how that all seemed confusing here," as you described it, but that you plagiarized yourself (and seemingly fabricated the situation; if you and your friends did have that conversation recently, I find it hard to believe that you wouldn't have brought up a Glamour post you did on that exact subject). Let's remember, a New Yorker writer was recently caught self-plagiarizing. This lifestyle blog obviously is not an established magazine with those standards, but certain ethical lines inherent in an ostensibly journalistic effort should not be crossed.
Interestingly, the readers expressing why this has upset them have been far more articulate and intelligent than the readers shouting in your defense, "haters." And, frankly, far more articulate than you have been on the issue.
Does this affect you? I hope to see you address this with a full—and self-aware—post in the coming days.
Rae
She's so gorgeous and I love that dog - it looks like a Portuguese water dog. Just like my favorite dog in chief, Bo Obama.
ReplyDeleteThese outfits are great! However, I wonder how likely it is for a pregnant woman to wear sky high heels? I have never been pregnant so I really don't know I am just not sure that I would want to be wearing heels on my already swollen tootsies!
ReplyDeletegorgeous mommy!
ReplyDeletexo, http://youandiplusmore.blogspot.com
Yay to jersey skirts and empire dresses! I have been very careful to purchase only things that I can wear after delivery as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm so close to the finish line, I'm due anytime this week. Since this is my first baby, I'm excited, nervous and scared!
She looks so chic, great makeover!
ReplyDeleteShe looks so Gorgeous!! Absolutely chic and beautiful...
ReplyDeleteI love that Jumper and those heels...WOW!!
she looks gorgeous! i love these looks and they completely flatter her adorable bump. i lived in leggings and flawy tops when i was pregnant (almost identical to the "before" photo) but would love to rock one of these looks the next time around!
ReplyDeletewow! gorgeous dresses and her hair is Amazing!!!
ReplyDeletewhat brand are her boots and her wedges?
ReplyDeleteI'm about 5 months pregnant right now with my second. I jumped straight into maternity pants/shorts with my first pregnancy, but this time around, I've just been wearing my postpartum shorts/jeans from the after the first pregnancy and its still working so far! I'm lacking in curves when not pregnant, so when I AM pregnant, another alternative has been to buy regular bottoms in the "curvy" version a size or two up that I actually now fill out. :) All these "size-up" pants/shorts from postpartum were bought second-hand since I knew I wouldn't need them once my hips went back to their non-curvy selves, so its been nice to get a second use out of them. :) Also, Target and Old Navy have cotton stretchy "fold-over" waist skirts that I've been living in and will transition beautifully post-pregnancy too!
ReplyDeleteI'm pregnant with 2nd baby and I like to wear tunics and leggings best too.... When its really hot a lightweight dress is best!
ReplyDeletethe black t-strap heel with the pom pom is very cute. may i ask where it's from?
ReplyDeleteWow, the outfit with the high boots is seeeexaaaayyy! I wish I looked like that while pregnant!
ReplyDelete- Sarah

For those not wanting to spend major bucks on maternity duds but want something nicer and higher quality than Old Navy or Target, Japanese Weekend was my savior. They have fantastic nursing wear and are the only clothes that have lasted me through two pregnancies. The Hatch clothes are beautiful as is the mom to be modeling them!
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great makeover, my youngest is 12 and for a minute I almost wished I was pregnant (just for a minute, then sanity reasserted itself). I wore combat boots and a camouflage uniform every day, and you don't know a challenge until you try to bend over and get your boots bloused (end of pants put into combat boots) when you are nine months pregnant. What lovely lovely clothes, and what a lovely model
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous, glowing gal!
ReplyDeleteShe looks amazing, even in her shirt and leggings!
ReplyDeleteShe is gorgeously pregnant. I need to copy her pregnancy fashion.

Jenny looks fabulous! I love that jumper, and the bold bright necklace she wore with it.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous makeover ...... Love the jumpsuit !!
ReplyDeletethe jumper looks super cute... but how practical is it when you need to pee so often when pregnant? Just wondering...?
ReplyDeleteCharissa
i am not due till november so the bump is just beginning to appear and so far dresses and a couple pairs of maternity trousers are my saviour everything else is just from my normal wardrobe--although the growing pile on the floor of clothes that don't fit at the moment is getting slightly depressing ;)
ReplyDeleteJenny looks amazing and has given me some good ideas :)
Very nice makeover! I love loose dresses for pregnant women, and the fact that they can be worn after having the baby.
ReplyDeleteMy blog is all about maternity fiendly and breastfeeding fashion, it would be great if you could checj it out!

That looks a perfect dress for pregnant women.
ReplyDeleteI'm not pregnant, and I would love that jumper.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the outfits, especially the jumper!
ReplyDeleteShe looks fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI lived in stretchy clothes from White House Black Market and jeans from Target. And sandals only - I would have toppled over in heels!
Rita and Kristen, I didn't have a lot of luck using a rolled up sock--it would slip out of my hair! The bun donut works much better. I got one at H&M for only $3 or $4 that is pretty much identical to this one! I think the fact that it's a foam sort of material makes it more grippy and easy to cover.
ReplyDeleteYour friend looks ADORABLE! Gosh, what a cute lady. When I was pregnant, I was so boring in comparison. Leggings everyday for me with cute boots (i might of purchased A LOT of shoes during when I was preggo) and a longer, tighter fitting shirt for me. No point in hiding the obvious, plus I was proud of the bump=it was my summer project.
ReplyDeleteI'm not even thinking about being preggers again, and i want that jumper!
ReplyDeletehello...
ReplyDeletethose dresses with the tiny straps are really cute but i can't imagine what's holding things up under there?
strapless bra?
i have trouble with this now and i'm not pregnant!
please recommend specifics!
:)
I also MUST. KNOW. where those brown boots are from!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of dog is that? It's adorable.
ReplyDeleteDear Hatch, I am officially obsessed. Thanks Joanna for sharing and - Hatch - I'll be coming for you during my next pregnancy!! Whenever that may be;) The jumper is my absolute fave.
ReplyDeleteThe romper looks ridiculous and I would never pay that much for maternity wear even if it didn't look ridiculous. Also, who puts a very pregnant lady in what this website admits are "sky high heels." I'm sorry, but I think this is ridiculous and I will not be heeding this advice as I grow larger. I will be sticking with my comfortable leggings and flats, thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand the allure of the $300 baggy romper. And I had a hard enough time finding regular bras that were comfy when I was pregnant...forget wearing a strapless bra! I think the Gap/Old navy/Target clothes are stylish enough.i realize NYC is more fashion forward, but I just don't think the Hatch clothes are that awesome. I will leave the heels and baggy rompers to the more chic ladies, I suppose.
ReplyDeleteShe's really pretty!!
ReplyDeleteTheir maternity clothes are gorgeous, but there is no way I could justify those pries for something I would only be wearing for maybe 5 months.
ReplyDeleteIt's so fun that she can take her dog to work, will she be able to take the baby too once she has it?
Joanna, I wonder what you'll think of that blue shirt the second time around. I had almost a visceral reaction to putting on maternity clothes I wore for my first pregnancy. It's like my body could remember what it was like wearing them for 3 months straight! I ended up getting a lot of new stuff because I couldn't stand them. And my pregnancies were even 3 years apart. That alone makes me balk at expensive maternity clothes. If I was going to wear it three times I could see the investment, but once? Forget it!
ReplyDeleteI am due September 10 and I'm on a tight budget - I'm blessed to have a friend my size with great taste pass on her maternity hand-me-downs. But when it started getting HOT here - like in March (what the...?) - I needed more summery things and three words have saved me: Old. Navy. Dresses. Oh, and flip flops and adjustable sandals to accommodate swelling. :/
ReplyDeleteAlso, a huge THANK YOU!! for your hair tutorials - the updos have also been a life saver in this heat, and help me feel a little more put together than I would throwing my hair back in a ponytail!
I love other girls in Hatch, but I'm petite and Hatch wasn't fitted enough for me - despite the beautiful colors and fabrics, I looked like I was wearing sacks! Isabella Oliver has been my absolute favorite. It's also pricey, but they have fantastic sales (including one right now). The clothes have made me feel amazing at every stage, they really do grow with you, they look fabulous without putting any thought into it and they'll be perfect for 4th trimester too. The brand has been a lifesaver!
ReplyDeleteWow, I am overwhelmed by the incredibly warm words and support from this community. Thank you to all of the lovely ladies for making a mama-to-be feel so good :)
ReplyDeleteAnd Joanna, thanks for helping to make a mama-to-be (and her pup) look so good! What a fun photo shoot, and such a treat getting to spend that beautiful afternoon with you.
Now, on to all of the great questions asked on this post:
* Dog: Bodhi is a labradoodle pup, just 9 months old and simply delicious.
* Brown boots: Chloe, bought at my favorite vintage store in Soho for a steal! Ina is on Thompson between Spring & Prince.
* Red necklace worn with Jumper: This is my mom's from the 1970s. Vintage, again :)
* Purple T-strap heels worn with Jumper: prada, and actually incredibly comfortable!
* A note on heels in general: I'm living in flip flops/flats these days BUT I do keep heels at the office for client meetings and such. Adds a touch of glamour that I still love.
* Bra: Strapless from Chantelle - the best maternity investment of the summer as I wear it every day with my maxi dresses.
* Bun: I have used both the bun donut and sock (with toes cut off). They both work well for me, but I may have a slightly different technique than most. First tip: day 2 hair always works best. Second tip: I start with my hair high up on my head in a pony tail. Then I loop the pony tail through the donut bun/rolled sock and fan my hair around it so you can't see the fabric. Last, I start bobby-pinning on an angle, keeping it a bit loose but all locked into place.
xoxo Jenny
LOVE this post. Jenny is a gorgeous mama to be and I love everything, especially her wavy hair! Also, can't wait to wear Hatch on round two! Coming to theaters soon! (limited release)
ReplyDeleteAs a gal planning to get pregnant soon, I couldn't find a way to work my two tone dyed hair. It is now from light brown to golden blonde to the ends. And my original hair color is dark dark brown, which shows in two weeks after getting my roots done.
ReplyDeleteI've just read that long dark roots is a trend now, but unfortunately this trend wouldn't be working for my formal work environment.I thought of it, but, no.
Is there a healthy way for hiding long dark roots? For 9 months or so? Without getting depressed from the look in the mirror? :) Or should I get back to my original hair color?
Beautiful lady!
ReplyDeleteHave to admit, I was so excited when I saw the title of this post in Google Reader, but I did think, "I hope it's not more Hatch stuff." Don't get me wrong, their collection is absolutely gorgeous and I've been coveting a few pieces, but there is absolutely no way I (or most of us) could afford them. I like to dream as much as the next lady, but it would be wonderful to see a feature that addressed more attainable options. Your friend looks amazing, btw :)
ReplyDeleteThat jumper is perfect! So is that first dress. Hell, I'd wear them and I'm not pregnant. And she looks absolutely gorgeous and glowing.
ReplyDeleteI love her style! I hope I can look that cute when I'm pregnant :)

Thanks for such a great information. Keep it up
ReplyDeleteWe are really grateful to see such a great information.
ReplyDeleteAccording to that representative, “When aspiring singers talked about their singing dreams, and how it’s hard to chase them and expressed their sad thoughts of giving this dream up, Yang Yoseob was seen choking with tears”. Yang Yoseob was also a singer who faced many setbacks before he managed to debut. Because of this, he could understand the feelings of those who aspires to be singers, hence the tears.
ReplyDeleteYang Yoseob even had times where he wanted to give up on his dreams, but he held on and came to his current agency with Lee Kikwang. Eventually, he became a part of BEAST.
