  1. Sigh. I want hair that requires no work at all. Long amazing hair - a little messy. Just like this.

  2. the hair reminds me more of the 70's, when I was in high schoo....the leggings...well, I think I painted something like that yesterday.

  12. it feels like the 80s has "been back" about 15 separate times in the past 8 years. i think the internet age has eliminated the decade-revival nature of fashion cycles. style trends are too fluid and fickle now to be boxed up in decade file folders.

  13. i have seen this girl posted on like 10 other blogs this week, and every time i see those leggings i CRINGE! (no offense jo) she's gorgeous and she's barely pulling them off... i would look like a fat cow in those - and i'm also pretty sure my BF had them in 1986!

  14. modest merlin, i have to disagree....so many collections for fall 2008 are showcasing crazy 80s flair--shoulder pads, sweaters with rhinestone, short leather boots...much, much more than usual. i think it's truly a trend!

i guess vogue's and lucky's september issues will be the final judge:)

  16. I think it "works" for her and for NYC, but if that were anywhere in middle america it'd only be described as scary.

  26. Clearly if the New Kids are back then yes the 8o's are back. (Tho this hair is def 70's to me!)

I remember all the big hair and to be honest the 80's are my least favorite fashion decade.......ever (so far!)
